Originally founded in 1986 with ten houses, Dakelh & Quesnel Community Housing Society has grown to become one of the largest affordable housing providers in the City of Quesnel. As a registered non-profit society, we now own and operate 156 units, including houses, apartments and townhouses.
With over 30 years of providing affordable housing, we have been honored to provide housing to people from all walks of life and to be part of their lives as we celebrate the successes of our tenants.
We believe that safe, affordable housing should be available to everyone.
We have Several different programs that we offer to the community of Quesnel, they are:
33 Housing units under the Urban Native Housing Program;
31 Housing units under BC Housing Affordable Housing Programs;
28 Housing units under the Rural and Native Housing Program;
38 Housing units in downtown Quesnel.
